Knitting has happened

And we are pleased.

The beaded brocade sock. In its just finished state. With what was left of the ball of koigu. I was nervous all the way up to the end.

Closeup of beaded pattern.

The Shetland Garden in Nature’s Palette seafoam, she is done.

Gorgeous sock, I might have to get over my fear of knitting with beads.
And love the shawl, maybe that's what I should make with my Knitpicks shimmer that arrived yesterday from your stash sale. Hmmmmmm........

Ooops, I didn't mean that last post to be anonymous. Must drink more coffee, still too early here I guess!

Beautiful FOs!

And (insert big sigh of relief here) for having enough Koigu to finish your sock(s?).

Sock pattern...must have sock pattern...

I organized the stash while moving...almost all my yarn is sock yarn...this means I need more socks... :)

And what a gorgeous, gorgeous shawl. Pretty pretty.

I think when I get over having made the one for mom, I really want to make one for me, only on DK weight yarn and bigger needles, so that it will be huge and enveloping. We'll see.

They are both gorgeous!!

Truly beautiful to look at online, I can't imagine how much better they must be in person!
